Over the last few days, people in cities around the world have been taking part in the Global GovJam — a creative, hands-on event where public servants and citizens come together to learn new ways of improving public services.

Every local Jam, (and the Global HQ) is run entirely by volunteers, and this year’s hosts have been incredible. Some Jams have already wrapped up, others are still in full swing, and it has been inspiring to see the energy, creativity, and care that each team has brought to their community.

We’ve been checking in with almost every local Jam — through calls, virtual visits, and spontaneous drop-ins — and it has been a joy to meet so many enthusiastic people learning new skills, making connections, and discovering what’s possible when they collaborate across boundaries.
